(6.0cm tall + stick) Here is another warrior kami sculpture. This one is sad and afraid and feeling very lost in this absurd human world, but it's also very determined to fight for what it knows it right. Why it knows it's here. It carries a stick of autumn sage and seems very alive, strong, and close to the earth.
It is made from stoneware, glazed in non-toxic glaze, and raku fired for the gifts of smoke and flame.
*To those in Australia / New Zealand: due to customs regulations, I would not be able to send this little warrior's stick with him, but you could find him another.
Through my work, I hope to bring a little nature, peace, and gentleness into the world. I make all of my pieces entirely by hand with only natural materials.
