(4.8cm tall) Here is an owl spirit kami. Or maybe a bird spirit? He feels so gentle and loving, so full of warmth and light. Really, I'm struggling to think of words to describe; he just makes me think of hot tea, cinnamon, and blankets.
He's made from stoneware clay, fired once, glazed with non-toxic glaze, and raku fired for the gifts of flame and smoke.
Through my work, I hope to bring a little nature, peace, and gentleness into the world. I make all of my pieces entirely by hand with only non-toxic material.
