(5.8cm tall) This is a stone spirit sculpture, an elemental being of earth and rock. it feels like a flowing connection between past, present, and future, and maybe someone who could help us reconnect to that flow too. It also feels very gentle and kind, softer somehow than the harshness of this world.
This nature spirit statue is made of stoneware and has been fired once, glazed, and then raku fired with natural wood shavings for the amazing effects of smoke and flame.
Through my work, I hope to bring a little nature, peace, and gentleness into the world. I make all of my pieces entirely by hand with only natural materials.
