(2.9cm tall) Here is a tiny little forest spirit, a small creature of fallen leaves and tree roots, of curling up for the winter and resting. I think it can help us to remember that we need to curl up and rest sometimes too.
It has been fired once, glazed, and then raku fired with natural wood shavings for the amazing effects of smoke and flame.
Through my work, I hope to bring a little nature, peace, and gentleness into the world. I make all of my pieces entirely by hand with only natural materials.
