(4.8cm tall) Here is a very kind, gentle, and loving owl kami nature spirit statue. This guardian being has a sweet, heart-shaped face and feels comforting and accepting. And this one is extra special because it's rain raku! Those little spiderweb patterns in the glaze are where raindrops fell on the sculpture when the glaze was still vitrifying. Natural magic!
It is made from stoneware, fired once, glazed in non-toxic glaze, and then raku fired for the amazing effects of fire and smoke.
Through my work, I hope to bring a little nature, peace, and gentleness into the world. I make all of my pieces entirely by hand with only natural materials.
