(2.7cm tall x 6.9cm long) Here is a sweet and sleepy ginger and white cat kami spirit sculpture to bring some gentle peace to your days. It just wants a calm place to sleep, kindness and compassion, and lots of love. And this one is extra special because it's rain raku! Those little spiderweb patterns in the glaze are where raindrops fell on the sculpture when the glaze was still vitrifying. Natural magic!
This cat kami is made from stoneware clay and has been fired once, glazed, and then raku fired for the amazing gifts of smoke and flame.
Through my work, I hope to bring a little nature, peace, gentleness, and spirit to the world. I make all of my pieces entirely by hand with natural materials.
