(4.3cm tall) This lovely chicken friend looks like she's waiting for something, but I'm not sure what. Maybe her new friend? And she's extra special because she's rain raku. Those little spiderweb patterns in the glaze are where raindrops fell on the sculpture when the glaze was still vitrifying. Natural magic.

She's made from stoneware, glazed with non-toxic glaze, and raku fired for the gifts of smoke and flame. 

Through my work, I hope to bring a little nature, peace, and gentleness into the world. I make all of my pieces entirely by hand with only natural materials.
