This spirit house (or fairie cottage) is such a happy place. It feels like it would be a safe, comfy, and joy-filled home, and like there would be plenty of magic happening too, but only the good kind.
The base of the house is 5.7cm long x 5.6cm wide and around 3.9cm tall. With the roof on, the whole thing is approximately 7.2cm tall. The roof overhangs the house by a few millimetres on all sides. The chimney has a hole in it, and the roof lifts off easily.
This spirit cottage is made of stoneware, glazed with non-toxic glaze, and raku fired for the beautiful effects of flame and smoke.
Through my work, I hope to bring a little nature, peace, gentleness, and spirit to the world. I make all of my pieces entirely by hand with natural materials.
