Here is a little kodama nature spirit kami with its own little shrine. And its own little bird friend! It is very sweet and friendly, full of the wonders of the natural world and wanting to share them with us. It feels somehow removed from the chaos that we've created here, like our swirling storms don't affect it. It would be lovely in a Shinto shrine, for a nature table, altar, or as a guardian spirit.

The kodama is 3.6cm tall, and his shrine is 6.6cm tall (including the bird). Both are made from stoneware, glazed in non-toxic glaze, and raku fired for the beauty of smoke and flame.

Through my work, I hope to bring a little nature, peace, gentleness, and spirit to the world. I make all of my pieces entirely by hand with natural materials.
