(5.7cm tall) Here is a forest owl kami. He feels very quiet and shy and like he's somewhere in between animal and nature spirit. I don't think he's ever really thought about it before; he just likes to live in peace with the leaves, sun, and moon.
He's made from stoneware clay, fired once, glazed with non-toxic glaze, and raku fired for the gifts of flame and smoke.
Through my work, I hope to bring a little nature, peace, and gentleness into the world. I make all of my pieces entirely by hand with only non-toxic material.
