(3.8cm tall) Here is a lovely chestnut kami. He's a being of autumn, fall, and changing seasons, a nature spirit to help us reconnect to the earth. He would be wonderful as a friend or guardian spirit and could also live on a nature table or Shinto shrine.
He has been fired once, glazed with non-toxic glaze, and then raku fired with natural wood shavings for the amazing effects of smoke and flame.
Through my work, I hope to bring a little nature, peace, and gentleness into the world. I make all of my pieces entirely by hand with only natural materials.
