(6.1cm tall) This nature guardian is a being of balance and of seasons, of the natural rhythms of the planet. And of us! It wants to help us remember that we're creatures of nature too and that we also need to rediscover our rhythm. As the earth is imbalanced, so are we, but we can work to fix this, and we can start just by paying more attention to the changes the shifting seasons bring.
It has been fired once, glazed, and then raku fired with natural wood shavings for the amazing gifts of smoke and flame.
Through my work, I hope to bring a little nature, peace, and gentleness into the world. I make all of my pieces entirely by hand with natural materials.
