Sometimes I think that maybe Jizo and Buddha, kitsune and kami might like to rest on something comfortable! Here is one of a selection of woven tatami mats made from eco, ethical, hand-spun and plant-dyed wool. I like to call them tatami mats even though they're not really, but they're the closest that I can make with my wool and weaving frame. :-)

This mat is 7cm long by 5.8cm wide. This listing is just for one mat without any sculpture, but please contact me or see my other listings if you'd like to buy someone to live on it. :-)

Please note that the knots at the ends of the tatami are secured with a tiny dab of natural latex glue. If you're allergic to latex but you'd like a tatami, please contact me, and I'll gladly make you one with synthetic glue.

Through my work, I hope to bring a little nature, peace, gentleness, and spirit to the world. I make all of my pieces entirely by hand with natural materials.

(I am happy to combine postage on all items apart from clothes (which don't ship from me). Please either message me before you order and I can create a custom listing, or just order and I'll refund any excess postage fees. Thank you.)
