This lovely spirit is really part fox, part bear, part all woodland creatures. He's a gentle guardian of forest beings and an embodiment of forest life. He feels full of joy, and I think he can help us to connect more with the natural world that surrounds us. He and his teacup would be beautiful on a kamidana shrine to Inari, on a pagan altar, nature table, as a guardian spirit, or just for anyone who loves foxes and needs a little serenity. He's 6.1cm tall.

The fox and his cup are made of stoneware, fired once, glazed in non-toxic glaze, and raku fired for the beautiful effects of fire and smoke.

Kitsune are the fox-messengers of the Shinto kami Inari Okami: the deity of rice, sake, agriculture, fertility, tea, and prosperity, among other things, kitsune foxes guard Inari shrines and carry his/her messages to us.

Through my work, I hope to bring a little nature, peace, gentleness, and spirit to the world. I make all of my pieces entirely by hand with natural materials.
