This is a very special, very spiritual elemental bird spirit kami statue. I don't think it's really a bird, rather that it's a spirit in bird form. It feels like a bridge, a connection to the spirit world and real reality. Its energy is so gentle, and it would be wonderful for a shrine or altar. This special being is 4.8cm tall.

It's made from stoneware clay, fired once, glazed with non-toxic glaze, and raku fired for the gifts of fire and smoke.

Through my work, I hope to bring a little nature, peace, and gentleness into the world. I make all of my pieces entirely by hand with only non-toxic material.
