This little one is so very special. It feels at once young and ancient, like it is born every moment but has been here forever. It feels like earth and wind, rain and sunshine, dawn and dusk. To me, it is a little earth spirit kami, a being who embodies the rhythm and beauty of life on this wonderful planet. It is full of soul, wisdom, joy, and sorrow. It's 3.8cm tall.
This earth spirit kami is made of stoneware, glazed in non-toxic glaze, and raku fired for the amazing gifts of fire and smoke.
Through my work, I hope to bring a little nature, peace, and gentleness into the world. I make all of my pieces entirely by hand with only non-toxic material.
