This raindrop kami spirit is happy but also peaceful, like he knows when and where rain is needed and when and where it isn't. I hope he can help us to find our own balance and learn to rebalance the world we've upset.
He is made of stoneware clay, fired once, glazed with non-toxic glaze in beautiful blue and a hint of turquoise, and raku fired for the beautiful effects of smoke and flame.
Through my work, I hope to bring a little nature, peace, and gentleness into the world. I make all of my pieces entirely by hand with only non-toxic material.
