Here is a very sweet pumpkin spirit statue for Hallowe'en or Samhain! This little kami of autumn and fall would be beautiful as a seasonal decoration on a nature table, altar, or shrine. This one feels a little overwhelmed by the human world and is still full of the spirit world; he can help to remind us of the magic of this time of year. He's 3cm tall by about 3.3cm wide.
This little pumpkin kami is made of stoneware, glazed in non-toxic glaze, and raku fired for the amazing gifts of fire and smoke.
Through my work, I hope to bring a little nature, peace, and gentleness into the world. I make all of my pieces entirely by hand with only non-toxic material.
