Here is a sweet little kodama nature spirit kami of forests and trees in his very own little kamidana shrine. This little kodama has a very gentle energy and is full of the peace, joy, and wildness of nature. He would be wonderful for anyone who wants to reconnect with the natural world, honour it, and help to heal it. (And the kodama can come out of his shrine if you want to carry him around; he's not attached.)
The shrine is 6.3cm tall and around 3.5cm deep, and the kodama is 2.0cm tall. Both are made of stoneware. They've been fired once, glazed in non-toxic glaze, and raku fired for the beautiful effects of fire and smoke.
Through my work, I hope to bring a little nature, peace, gentleness, and spirit to the world. I make all of my pieces entirely by hand with natural materials.
