(4.7cm tall) Here is a happy little mountain spirit with his very own cloud! The cloud will either sit on his head, or you can remove it if the weather is nice. The mountain kami feels like a solid little spirit; he has his feet in the ground, but he can talk to the sky too. He would be beautiful in a shrine or on a nature table, or perfect just as a friend to help keep you stable and remind you of the ground under your feet.
The mountain and cloud are both made of stoneware, glazed with non-toxic glaze, and then raku fired with natural wood shavings for the amazing effects of smoke and flame.
Through my work, I hope to bring a little nature, peace, and gentleness into the world. I make all of my pieces entirely by hand with only natural materials.
