This very little earth and rock elemental kami nature spirit statue has a lot of strength! He first appeared when I was making a Jizo; his little face just came out of the clay and smiled at me. He wasn't right where he was, but I knew that he really wanted to exist, so I made him a piece all of his own, and out he came again! I think that he's a baby rock or earth elemental, a little nature kami who wants to see what our world is like. He feels like a sweet little friend; maybe he needs to be taken care of, but he will take care of you too. This little spirit is 1.9cm.

He is made from earthware, fired once, glazed and painted in non-toxic glaze, and then fired again.

Through my work, I hope to bring a little nature, peace, and gentleness into the world. I make all of my pieces entirely by hand with only natural materials.
