Here is a lovely, warm rose-pink Jizo bead bracelet made from a raku ceramic Jizo bead, two ethically traded sandalwood beads from India, and an adjustable, European eco-hemp cord. It would be wonderful as a little reminder of the power of peace and healing during your day, a way to take a bit of sacred space with you wherever you go.

The Jizo bead is 1.6cm long, and the sandalwood beads are approximately .5cm each in diameter. Jizo is made from stoneware, glazed in non-toxic glaze, and raku fired. The bracelet is adjustable in size and will fit "average"-sized hands and wrists: it fits me and my husband! If your wrists / hands are either large or child-sized, please contact me for a custom order.

*Please note that the knots in the hemp cord are sealed with natural, ecological latex glue. If you have a latex allergy, please contact me before you place your order, and I will make another cord sealed with synthetic glue for you.

Please note also that while it's ok to get this bracelet wet occasionally, it cannot cope with a lot of water, so please take it off when bathing, showering, swimming.

Jizo is a Japanese Shinto spirit, a kami who found his way to Japan through Buddhism. He is a guardian of women, children, and travellers; he comforts us through grief and bereavement.

Through my work, I hope to bring a little nature, peace, and gentleness into the world. I make all of my pieces entirely by hand with only non-toxic material.

(I am happy to combine postage on all items. Please either message me before you order and I can create a custom listing, or just order and I'll refund any excess postage fees. Thank you!)
