This rabbit or hare goddess spirit statue amazed me as she came out of the clay. Part woman, part rabbit goddess, usagi or hare, she feels very spiritual and almost beyond this world. She is sacred, refined, and beautiful, and would be wonderful for a Shinto shrine, shamanism, or altar. She's 7.8cm tall.
This hare goddess is made from stoneware clay, glazed in non-toxic glaze, and raku fired for the amazing gifts of smoke and flame. She has a small dot of gold gilding on her third eye.
Through my work, I hope to bring a little nature, peace, gentleness, and spirit to the world. I make all of my pieces entirely by hand with only natural materials.
