(2cm tall) Here is a very happy and gentle little kitsune fox pendant. Whether as an animal spirit guide or as part of Shinto Inari worship, he's a wonderful little friend who can go almost anywhere!
He is strung on a strong, natural flax cord with an adjustable, sliding knot closure, and he hangs by a fireproof metal loop that's very, very secure. The flax itself is handspun and naturally waxed. The pendant is made of stoneware, glazed in non-toxic glaze, and raku fired with natural wood shavings for the amazing gifts of smoke and flame. The fox is 2cm tall, the metal loop adds another 0.4cm. The full length of the necklace from back of next to bottom of fox is 34cm, but of course you can adjust it shorter.
**Please note that the knots in the flax cord are sealed with natural, ecological latex glue. If you have a latex allergy, please contact me before you place your order, and I will make another cord sealed with synthetic glue for you.**
Kitsune are the fox-messengers of the Shinto kami Inari Okami: the deity of rice, sake, agriculture, fertility, tea, and prosperity, among other things, kitsune foxes guard Inari shrines and carry his/her messages to us.
Through my work, I hope to bring a little nature, peace, and gentleness into the world. I make all of my pieces entirely by hand with only non-toxic material.
(I am happy to combine postage on all items. Please either message me before you order and I can create a custom listing, or just order and I'll refund any excess postage fees. Thank you!)
