This one, I think, is a gatekeeper's cottage. It's a raku kurinuki spirit cottage decorated with hyacinth and bluebell patterns, and would be wonderful as a fairy house, little shrine, or somewhere to store a precious treasure.
The base of the house is 6.5cm long by 5.4cm wide and 3.5cm tall. With the roof on, the whole thing is 7.6cm long by 6.5cm wide and approximately 7.1cm tall. The roof lifts off easily. (While this cottage does have a hole in its chimney, I've found that incense smoke more just floats out of the windows and door. I think it's because the chimney is so far over to the side. So if you want an incense cottage with a chimney that definitely smokes, this is not the one for you.)
This spirit cottage is made of stoneware, glazed with non-toxic glaze, and raku fired for the beautiful effects of flame and smoke. It can live outside if it's in a dry place, but I would recommend bringing it indoors during winter as it's not frost proof.
