Here is a joyful yet serene elemental kami of sunrise and sunset, of those times when they sky is streaked with colour. This guardian being is a reminder of the beauty we can find in simple things and nature, and also of the magic of those transition times. It is 5cm tall.
It's made from stoneware clay, fired once, glazed with non-toxic glaze, and raku fired for the gifts of fire and smoke.
Through my work, I hope to bring a little nature, peace, and gentleness into the world. I make all of my pieces entirely by hand with only non-toxic material.
