These two (the bigger one especially) are not who I expected. The little one is an elemental of celestial origin. His friend was originally intended (by me) to be an owl shaman, but he definitely isn't one! He feels like he's celestial too, maybe constellation-related, but that he's come to earth and manifest physically with his little friend to strengthen the connections between earth and sky and help their terrestrial brothers and sisters.
The larger one is 6.4cm tall and the little one is 1.4 cm tall. They are both made from stoneware, glazed with non-toxic glaze, and then raku fired for the gifts of fire and smoke.
Through my work, I hope to bring a little nature, peace, and gentleness into the world. I make all of my pieces entirely by hand with only natural materials.
